Position/Job Description:
- Provide competency and skills in creating, developing, and implementing a strategic communication plan for PAGTANAW 2050 and in producing the project’s identity and branding development, storytelling, and marketing strategy in all media formats;
- Develop content and stories for various PAGTANAW 2050 stakeholders and audiences through different channels (e.g., websites, social media, videos, presentations, brochures, and magazines);
- Analyze specific pieces of work concerning different audiences’ perceptions and opinions of PAGTANAW 2050;
- Ensure that all publicity and promotional materials by applying the appropriate format and branding of products and presentations;
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them;
- Maintain records and files of communication works and revisions;
- Manage, update, and maintain the contents of the PAGTANAW 2050 website.
- Provide administrative support to the project and perform other duties assigned from time to time.
Skills/Competencies required:
- Above average photo and video editing skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Know how to layout books, brochures and other publications
- Above average analytical skills – ability to learn, adapt, and formulate a research issue, including capacity to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Above average interpersonal skills – works well in a team and able to communicate/deal effectively with the policy makers and media
- Above average written communication skills – writes well-organized and clear press releases and reports
- Average oral communication skills – able to talk to others, to give and exchange ideas and information clearly and effectively
- Above average organizational skills – manages and organizes one to two events at the same time
- Above average problem-solving skills – uses good judgement and resolves problems/concerns regarding assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Relevant education: Master’s degree in any communication course, preferably in Development Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication or any degree in a research-heavy field. (Preferred)
- Relevant experience: Two (2) year of relevant work experience
- Relevant training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training
- Eligibility: Career Service – Professional/Second Level Eligibility (Preferred)
Compensation: ₱42,116.00/month
Period of engagement: 23 January – 30 June 2023 (with possible renewal)
