Position/Job Description:
The SRS I shall be in charge of records, database management, and all administrative tasks of the unit
- Prepare materials for SCC, STC, and TWG meetings;
- Assist in screening application documents for admission and upgrading;
- Communicate with scientists one month before year ends to remind them of the submission of the yearly Performance Contract and Performance Rating according to the SCC-prescribed schedules;
- Prepare and respond to SCS communications and queries;
- Receive, acknowledge, and check requests for foreign travel and other benefits;
- Handle administrative requirements such as receiving, monitoring, and releasing documents;
- Prepare supporting documents for processing claims and disbursements charged to SCS funds;
- Prepare procurement documents such as procurement management plans, conduct canvass or market scoping for required supplies, materials and equipment, coordinate with the procurement section, and prepare required reports;
- Assist in the SCS promotional activities and other related activities;
- Responsible for producing various social media contents for various platforms with average proficiency in digital content storytelling and research;
- Perform administrative tasks such as writing reports, monitoring social media posts, documentation, and taking minutes;
- Manage the production and printing of publications;
- Coordinate printing requirements (backdrops, flyers, brochures, etc.);
- Handle procurement for SCS promotional activities;
- Prepare press releases and other written materials;
- Upload and maintain content on the SCS website;
- Support the design and development of online applications for the SCS; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
