Position Title : Accountant III

Qualification Requirements:
Education : Bacheclor's degree in Commerce/ Business Administration major in Accounting
Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience
Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : RA 1080
 
Competencies Required:
1. Demonstrate knowledge on PPS Accounting Standards covering revenue and expenditure recognition and relationship to related assets and liabilities
2. Preparation and interpretation of financial statements and reports
3. Above average verbal and written communication skills
4. Good interpersonal skills
5. Tech-savvy
 
Duties/Position Description:

1. Direct and supervise accounting activities/transactions of NAST
2. Prepare and sign monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports of operations including supporting schedules and bank reconciliations
3. Prepare and sign disbursement vouchers, LDDAP-ADAs and other required accounting forms; examine and verify supporting documents for legality and correctness and make appropriate accounting entries
4. Maintain appropriate/required books of accounts, ledgers and records
5. Certify availability for funds for contracts and other obligations entered into by NAST
6. Implement appropriate internal control measures, rules and regulations
7. Prepare remittance to BIR, GSIS, HDMF and PhilHealth
8. Maintain close coordination with the Department of Budget and Management, Commission on Audit and other government agencies regarding accounting activities, procedures, laws, rules and regulations

4. Photocopy of the certificate of CSC eligibility/PRC license;
5. Photocopy of transcript of records; and
6. Photocopy of certificate of training/s.
