Position/Job Description:
  1. Responsible in preparing the written and visual content of published articles and project outputs, which includes the ST&I foresight best practices, policy recommendations, and draft bills;
  2. Work closely with other projects to create and manage technical documentation needed for Project 2's output while ensuring that all details are accurately captured and properly communicated;
  3. Prepare and refine content to enhance quality and adherence to brand guidelines;
  4. Provide overall assistance to the ST&I Foresight Steering Committee, ST&I Foresight Steering Think Tank, Technical Working Groups, NAST Champions, and focal persons;
  5. Conduct literature and other research-related activities relevant to the needs of the different key operational areas clusters of PAGTANAW 2050;
  6. Assist in project-related activities such as but not limited to policy fora, roundtable discussions, focused group discussions, and seminars of NAST PHL;
  7. Prepare required reports, including press releases, minutes of meetings, and other writing needs;
  8. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of research results;
  9. Help in establishing linkages with local and international foresight institutions;
  10. Maintain records and files of work and revisions; and
  11. Provide administrative support to the project and perform other duties assigned from time to time.

  • Interpersonal skills – works well in a team and able to communicate/deal effectively with the policymakers and media
  • Written communication skills – writes well-organized and clear press releases and reports
  • Oral communication skills – able to talk to others, to give and exchange ideas and information clearly and effectively
  • Organizational skills – manages and organizes one to two events at the same time
  • Problem-solving skills – uses good judgment and resolves problems/concerns regarding assigned tasks
 
Qualifications:
  • Relevant education: Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering / Health / Mathematics / Physical Sciences/Development Communication (Science Communication) or other related courses
  • Relevant experience: One (1) year of relevant work experience
  • Relevant training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
  • Eligibility: Not required but preferred CS Professional/Second Level Eligibility
 
Compensation: 48,250.00/month
Period of engagement: 15 April – 30 September 2025 (with possible renewal)
